The writer Josep Pla described the Àger Valley (La Noguera) as a remote and distant paradise that hides a divine peace. The rich scenery and culture of the valley is bordered to the east and west by the congosts (gorges) of Terradets and Montrebei, while its northern and southern limits are defined by two other natural features: the Montsec and Montclús mountain chains. We always take off from Montsec mountain.
